This is the trifecta of dinner party desserts: incredibly easy, made ahead of time, and delicious! It’s also open to a lot of augmentation. You can make it a ginger chocolate pie with some candied ginger in the pudding. You can make a graham cracker crust and add vegan marshmallow fluff for a S’mores Pie. Chocolate lends itself well to orange, mint, and raspberry flavors, so any of these can be swapped in for the vanilla in the filling. Additionally, the crunch texture of the nuts is also something that many people will enjoy, whether your cookie is soft, crumbly or chewy.
* For variety, add raisins to your cookie or any dried fruit such as cherry or apple. This can give texture to the otherwise boring plain cookie mix. Dried cranberries and mango pieces are also worth experimenting with. Read the rest of this entry »
Only because a menu is served in a region other than its where the food originally came from, the concept of ‘typical food’ is derived. This ‘typical food’ is popular among new coming citizens in a foreign country, because these newcomers wish that they can still have the meals from where they are coming from. As to local citizens, the food offers a brand new flavor they never tasted in their own meals, so a new experience in eating the food is sensed. Therefore the food gives certain new impression. The same logic applies when it comes to talk about Italian food and American food.
Italian food is named ‘Italian’ because the food is served in other regions other than Italy itself. And so is American food. Italian food comprises menu which uses massively tomatoes, potatoes, bell peppers and maize. American food, in the other hand, is characterized by its fatty, giant, and oily ingredients which tastes yummy but is unhealthy.
So when mentioning Italian food we remember pizza, spaghetti and lasagna. At the other side, when mentioning American food we remember burger, hot dog and sausage.
